"This is a very clean and nice apartment within a very close drive to the Kinkaid boat launch. Easy to locate and can fit a car with a boat in tow no problem. This spot was also much more quiet than the campground or RV spots nearby. They have a great porch and a grill and we didn’t bring something for it which made me sad. "

"From the beginning, Sarah was so easy to communicate with! The loft was gorgeous (very updated and decorated beautifully), location was amazing (our toddler enjoyed looking at the downtown lights outside of the loft, people watching, and live music), and there was plenty of space for our 7 toddler in the loft! It was also a quick, easy drive to Sugar Spring Ranch for the wedding reception we were attending.Will definitely seek out this property to rent again when we find ourself in Waterloo!"

"Loft was super clean, spacious and quiet. Building built in 1861 so very unique space. Plenty of street parking. Air conditioning was great and a selection of restaurants and pubs down the street. Lots of nicely restored building-one can feel the history! Host communicated immediately and check in/out easy and seamless. "

"We stayed here over the 4th of July! It was in a great location in the heart of Effingham right above a great little speakeasy and just a couple blocks from Joe Sippers for morning coffee. It looked exactly like the pictures — a big bright, open loft in a historic building that somehow still managed to feel modern and cozy. It’s one of those places that feels like being at home even though you’re away, especially with a well appointed kitchen with all the basic utensils and supplies for cooking....

"We enjoyed our stay the apartment Labor day weekend and it was very clean and peaceful. Loved the location went for walks around downtown. We turned AC off and opened the windows At night was in 50s and 70s during day cool breeze was so nice. Has good wifi used my PS4 they have a large new big screen smart tv that was nice to have. Laundry room was clean and nice. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we will be booking it again every year. "
