"The cottage fit in very well with the Mt. Gretna aesthetic. Loved the outdoor areas. Back patio felt secluded and enjoyed the gas grill.Picnic table in front porch was perfect alternative when it rained. AC did great job of cooling house. Kitchen was well equipped for our party of 6. Hosts were very responsive and the welcome gift was a nice touch. We would definitely stay at the Butterfly Cottage again. Parking for 2 vehicles is provided. Note that the driveway is tight. "We very much enjoyed our honeymoon stay at Apple Blossom Cottage over the July 4th weekend. Perfect location - a private secluded spot and yet so close to Gettysburg. The cottage was clean and tidy and the decor was so nice. Sitting by a bonfire at night listening to the bullfrogs was fun and relaxing. Communication with the host was great too. I recommend Apple Blossom and am hoping to return sometime. "

"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"My mother and I always do a mother-daughter trip to the Amish Country every summer. And we tried VRBO for the first time and came across this place. We fell in love instantly. It feels like home, great little coffee bar, supplies ice and a pitcher of water. The place was immaculate. The hot tub was great, especially at night. Great little hiking trails that I wasn’t aware of and didn’t bring proper shoes for it. So make sure you have sneakers for the little trails. The neighbors we never saw...

"2 day stay with 2 rooms. Nice hotel, amazing breakfast and bar. But no cleaning of rooms. Asked 2 times for coffee, towels and water. It came 9.30 pm - but only to one of our rooms. Excuse for no cleaning was that the hotel was full - they were busy. We got a discount though. Also water dispenser and ice machine did not work at the 2 floors we were at, also not at the gym. Little things - but important things. "
