"Charming home. You can feel the history in the house and on the entire property. Sitting on the porch in the evening and just watching the fireflies come out, the deer passing through, and hearing the wild turkeys above us, so serene. We spent the days touring Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry taking in all the history and then returned home and we would think about thr history that took place here. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and where you can unwind but still be close to everything...

"We stayed at the Way-Har cottage as our son had a baseball tournament nearby. I especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen to be able to cook meals. The farm fresh milk and cupcakes they left for us was so kind! They were delicious. The beds were very comfortable. Our boys loved walking to the farm to see the animals and barn cats. We look forward to coming back to this wonderful cottage! Thank you for the hospitality. The Augusta Family "

"Chris' home is simply stunning. Everything was better than it was in the pictures. The house was well stocked and immaculate. I love the view of Raystown lake from the top floor balcony. My favorite part, though, was simply sitting on the porch, enjoying the vistas (with a cup of coffee, of course!) and enjoying the near constant gentle breeze. I hope to visit again in the future!"

"Awesome property!! Beautiful house! Could not have ask for anything more!! Great for civil war insuitust, like our family!! 4 grandkids age 11- 21, not once did they watch TV!!
