Wood burning stove/ fireplace was nice touch for chilly evenings.Close to Murphys and The Calaveras Big Trees. We stayed for three nights and wished we would have stayed longer. "My wife and I stayed at this property for a thanksgiving getaway. It is conveniently located close to Redding and Lassen National Park (unfortunately the park was mostly closed due to snow when we were there). The living space is comfortable with large windows letting in light and giving a view of the trees. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, spices, etc. the property owner/manager was very responsive and communicative. Thanks!"

"It's a nice place to stay, we enjoyed our time there. It had alot of activities for everyone, board games, pool, darts etc. It also has kitchenware, air beds and baby sleeping gear. Our host was very accommodating. In my opinion I feel the description is just a little misleading. It states there's 4 bedrooms but it's only a 3 bedrooms house with a loft. It also states that there are 2 living room with double sofa beds but the main living room does not have a sofa bed. Overall it's a spacious...

"The property was as advertised and most importantly inside park boundaries!!! No need to deal with the lines or NPS reservation requirements!The property manager was an absolutely wonderful communicator and kept us abreast of everything. "

"The bedding was very thin and not complete sets for either bed. The room smelled like a backed up drain and musty. The shower is unsafe as it has no light inside, it’s very dark behind shower curtain and the water turns scorching hot on its own. The room is also lacking plug outlets, only one under tv opposite side of the room from nightstand and definitely no usb plugs either. Property lacking any landscaping, just dirt.Very disappointing."

"Had a great stay! Worked perfectly for our “needs”. We stayed here the night before our fishing tournament at Bullards Bar. Plenty of room to park both of our boats and tow vehicles. Very nice house. Would definitely stay again, and recommend. The only thing that would have made it better for our situation would have been to have either two adult sized twin or full beds in the room that had bunk beds.
