"The location by the beach is spectacular and the staff were all incredibly nice. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. I had a partial sea view which was very lovely. The rooms do give off a 80s or 90s vibe and could need a makeover, but it seems like that may be coming up soon. I could have appreciated an extra lock from the inside on the door too. On the downside, and this is not really to blame the hotel for, quite a few of the other guests were not that well behaved....

Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa

"The location was great and upon arrival, you’ll feel the grand atmosphere of this hotel. We had an amazing view from our room of the Dead Sea, and it was great that you could simply walk down to the beach side and going into the water and then get yourself covered in mud. For my personal taste, the cafe for lunch was expensive for what it was, two drinks, pasta carbonara and chicken salat for 50 JD and a starter. Also, my expectations were to relax here, but the music was so loud with club mashup songs instead of chilled out tunes. I know that you cannot please everyone, but there was a big group of youngsters who were playing volley in the pool, shouting and whistling very loudly and annoyingly - so we left the poolside. Another comment was that the main lamp in our room didn’t work and we told the room service guy and he said that he would send someone, but nobody came to fix it. So normally I wouldn’t care of it but for a 5-star-hotel, it must not happen. However, the staff in general were kind and welcoming, and also the breakfast was lovely."

"Absolutely perfect for a quick stopover. This no-frills hotel hits all the essentials: it's budget-friendly, just minutes from the airport, and offers exactly what you need—a clean room, a hot shower, and a comfy bed. Nothing fancy, and that’s the beauty of it. The staff? Genuinely outstanding. They went above and beyond for a clueless traveler without local currency, even stepping in to make sure the cab fare stayed fair. When all you need is a safe, simple place to rest your head before your next flight, this one gets it just right."

On the downside, and this is not really to blame the hotel for, quite a few of the other guests were not that well behaved. I saw so many kids using their sticky hands to grab all sort of food in the breakfast buffet and then put it back - from fruit pieces to pancakes - and old spoons went into the buffet hummus and came back up. Not really aiding my appetite. By the shore of the beautiful beach, people brought boom blasters and listened loudly to TikTok reels without headphones. Quite disturbing for the experience by the Dead Sea. I will say, though, that the life guard was amazing and helped to get some of them to quit the noise. But I think I’ll book a bit more expensive next time and hope to weed out some of the bad behaviour."
