We travel to Florida at least 4 times a year. Winter trips are part of our vacations so we know what to expect when traveling this time of year. When we arrived the place was under renovation which we were aware of. We received a letter stating the renovations would be done in 2024 (it was December 30th 2025)and that the outdoor pool is the only pool we arent able to use due to the renovations. The front desk informed us that all the pools have been closed for renovation and Vacasa should have notified us. They did not! We stayed in room 1809 when we got off the elevator it looked like something from the walking dead! There was wood everywhere, boarded up walls, mold on the wood, and broken lights. Our room smelled molded but later we found out the sink was leaking and had two mop buckets under it thats where the smell was coming from. The living room wasnt even close to the same photo posted on the listing. The couch smelled and had stains all over it. The master bedroom had makeup, hair, and dirt in the sheets. There was electrical wire exposed on the balcony. We can get over the renovations but the filth is something we cant move on from. We had to move our family at 1 am to a new hotel. It was so disappointing. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. This place really needs to be torn down and replaced with an updated resort. I have photo proof of all the claims I have made.
