"The house is perfect for small families and right on the water as advertised. Both the front and back yard are fenced in with ample outdoor furniture and grill. The porch is lovely with wrap around screened in windows, we did not use the bed in this space but a nice mostly private option for those who may need it. Very mermaid themed for all mermaid lovers."

"The house was perfect for us, tucked just behind the dunes so it was plenty private, but so close to a quiet stretch of beach that it was easy to just wander out for a walk before (and after) breakfast. The house itself is really nicely put together - cozy, clean, and well appointed with lots of convenient little touches. We would absolutely stay again!"

"Property had plenty of space. There was an ant problem that was quickly taken care by management. Curb appeal would be so much better if landscaping was improved. The location is great and neighborhood is nice and quiet"

"I stayed for a week mid-May just before the summer season really kicked in. I worked part-days and the 5G wifi was strong. Brought my dog and we enjoyed walking 30 seconds to the beach! I like being removed from busier beaches but was a quick drive to Lewes for restaurants. Thank you!"

"This adorable and nicely decorated cottage has just about everything you need. Plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. We spent a lot of time on the large deck with a great view of the bay. Robin was very easy to communicate with and replied promptly to our questions. It’s nice that beach chairs and umbrellas are available. We forgot to bring insect repellent and had to leave the beach early one day because of biting insects. Other than that we had a great time!"

"This little cottage home was absolutely perfect. The location is amazing. So easy to get to the beach and to walk to many places in Dewey. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The host, Nancy, was also fantastic. She is easy to get ahold of and super accommodating and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. And we would definitely stay there again."

"Grandmas Cottage looks exactly like the pictures, but is bigger inside. I have to say every inch of this cottage was immaculate. The grounds and gardens are welcoming. The outside chairs facing the lake are a great spot to read, drink your morning coffee or watch geese and ducks. Stores and restaurants easy to find. Self check-in and basic rules for check out easy to follow. Kudos to Helen & Walter for providing such a comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend and would rent again."

"Very quiet, nicely furnished, clean. Lovely screen porch to enjoy nature overlooking the marsh. Trouble with the coded lock, but customer service responsive and provided access to the lock box with a regular key. We would definitely stay here again."

"We were delighted with our stay. Jenny was an exceptionally responsive, flexible host who made our quick winter getaway very easy. The apartment is well-laid out and feels spacious, 2 bathrooms is a plus. Just a short walk to the beach to see the sunrise. Good set up, we’d come back!"
