"The house itself is beautiful! The views of Lake Superior are stunning and it was fun to watch them dynamically change by the minute. The home is filled with tons of small extra amenities. They really thought of everything we could possibly need for our stay. The ice cleats and snow shoes were extra wonderful to have for our winter hiking. "The little cabin was very cozy! It was just my wife and I for one night but spent a good amount of time relaxing in the cabin by the fireplace. It is close enough to Munising for food as well as the Valley Spur ski trails. The cabin was clean and well decorated. Directions to the cabin were easy. There were only a few other guests on the property but we felt that we had privacy and hardly noticed anyone except the deer! "The staff were welcoming and helpful and the location was excellent. However, the room was shabby and didn’t feel or smell clean- very musty. The paint on the door trim was a dark burgundy and very chipped and the whole place was dark and gloomy.
