"If you are looking for a quiet cabin on the quiet side of Acadia, this is it. We enjoyed the location to hiking and biking in Acadia National Park. It is convenient to great restaurants as well. We rented bikes in town at Southwest Cyclery with Bob and Charlie. They were wonderful! The cabin is well equipped to have your meals there as well. "Cabin was beautiful and just the right size. We had everything we needed. Carolyn and David were super responsive to any questions. The inlet beach is so picturesque and peaceful and we saw seal pups each day which was a highlight for us. Acadia and Bar Harbor are 1 hr and 20 minutes away as an FYI but this is a great place to stay away from the crowds"

"My wife and I loved the 5 days we spent in JD’s and Becky’s cabin. The cabin feel, decor, etc. was idyllic - exactly as we would have imagined. Everything is solar powered. Sean really thought of everything you could possibly want and was always available if I had any questions about the area."

"Thank you Ann for a great stay! Sedgwick is about an hour from Acadia. Choose to drive out to Acadia and Bar Harbor or just stay nearby and enjoy the cabin. Nearby restaurants were fresh and delicious. View was great."

"Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure."
