"Excellent View, great breakfest, good privacy"

"We definitely would not recommend and we would not stay again. Apart from the beautiful location and the friendliness of the staff, everything else was just dissapointing. The staff knowledge and appearance, the room standard and size, the room amenities, the restaurant decor, the menu choices, the food quality - all of it were far below our expectations in general, but at GBP 595 (USD 750) per night + the price for dinner etc, this was awfully disappointing. Even at hald the price, this would...

"Så smuk et hotel - fantastisk beliggenhed. Morgenmaden var super god. Værelserne var pæne og sengene gode. De var lidt underbemandet, så man skulle have lidt tålmodighed. Deres pub er også super skøn og der er personalet super søde"

"We visited this hotel and found it good for what it was intended for. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and we appreciated their helpful attitude. However, there were a few aspects that did not fully meet our expectations. The walls seemed quite thin, and we could hear noise from the adjoining room, possibly because it was a connecting room. The hotel also appears to cater more to tour groups and operators. If you plan to have dinner at the hotel, it is important...

"Breakfast Could improve,"

"Brae Lea is far more than one would expect. The location is a short walk to the Ferry Terminal at Lochboisdale - yet driving from the north, you feel as if you’re nestled in the foothills of a mountain (because you are). Rupert is an outstanding host, and he doubles as a 5-Star concierge. He helped us sort travel and touring arrangements as well as made breakfast and suggested dinner options. The Brae Lea accommodations are also top drawer. Clean - efficient - spacious - inviting. Full marks...

"Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist."

"Loved the hotel. Fabulous room. Entrance hall tired. Food lovely. Staff very helpful!"

"God beliggenhed - autentisk - men lidt slidt hotel"

"Reading other reviews I was a bit worried about staying here but it was great. I had a huge room with a seaview and big modern bathroom with lovely Scottish toiletries. I thoroughly enjoyed a hot bath after a cold day out on the bike. They have a big indoor room around the back of the hotel where you can store your bike. Huge comfortable bed and the room was comfortably warm. Busy, friendly bar and restaurant and I had a lovely steak pie for dinner. Very much enjoyed my stay here."

"I wish we stayed longer. It was exactly what we were looking for our trip to Skye. Great hosts and lovely views. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay longer next time. 2 nights simply was not enough."
