"Peaceful setting"

"I chose the Solano Inn for my wedding weekend as it was close to our venue and had the room to accommodate ourselves and small number of family members attending. One word comes to mind...meh. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. "This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

"The staff was amazing!"

"We stayed here to be close to the TPC River Highlands golf course. It was super convenient. It is well situated to get around to many different towns to do day trips and big box shops. The restaurants within walking distance are delicious - namely, Mizzu Asian, The Cromwell Diner, Cafe Fiore just to name a few.
