The hotel is not worth $140 a night, It’s more Like a $70 a night hotel. I have travelled to 44 countries (IG: travelbyanymeans), and have stayed in many hotels. Pro Dinner buffer was ok, did not go to breakfast. Bed was comfortable The shower was nice and hot (Yessss) The lobby, bar, pool areas are are ok Cons 1. The sheets and towels were clean, but they were dingy. 2.The location is not good for a first time visitor/tourist. There are no bars, restaurants, etc, around the hotel. But, you can easily hail down a taxi in front of the hotel. 3. In general the staff needs customer service training. For example, I had a problem with the safe in my room. I had to go to the front desk 2 times to ask if someone was coming to check the safe. One hour had gone by. No urgency, no concern, no service recovery. I must give thanks to Ibrahim and Moda (the bartender) were exceptional. This hotel definitely has potential.

I’ve stayed here several times in the past, before DSS became the official airport. I was disappointed this time around. The hotel was undergoing renovation so it was extremely noisy. The restaurant offers very limited food options and most of it isn’t good. Unfortunately its in such an awkward location there aren’t many restaurants nearby. The breakfast is ok. The staff were polite. Housekeeping was extremely slow, came to clean around 2pm which given the renovation- where was I supposed to go while they cleaned? The telephones in the bedrooms don’t work. If I can avoid it I probably won’t come back.

Biggest problem was flies in the hotel rooms and mosquitos in the lobby/ no insect killers noted Food, staff, accommodation, firm beds, security were all very good!

The stay has been very good, enjoyable. As still here, I extended my stay. The only problem is that after extending my stay they increased the room rate. Otherwise overall stay as been ok

Please note that the rate you paid through our Online Travel Agencies would not be the same rate when you decided to extend your stay and passby the Hotel Directly. We have an agreement with the OTAs and these are given special rate, therefore, when you make your booking through the Hotel, you are considered as a normal guest and we will Apply our Rack Rate, but I have dealt with your sitaution and I am sure I have been very fair in my dealings. The hotel staff at reception has no concept of customer service. They were ice cold during my check-in process and when I asked if someone from the reception or restaurant could bring me up a spoon as had the flu, was weak and had high fever, they flat out said no. The rooms are outdated and not clean at all. I actually ended up checking out a whole day early as I could no longer stand one more night in the hotel.
