"Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness...

Apart from baseline utensils and goods, there are extra: 2 umbrellas already at the front door ready to be used, a torch (in working order - in the bedside table) if need at night, kitchen and dinner table organised as BBQ under cover + trees in front of the bungalow with full kitchen utensils in the plastic tub etc..."

"Fantastic accommodation deep in the world’s oldest rainforest. 7 secluded cabins reached by boardwalks. Bathroom with a glass wall facing the forest. Comfortable, well kept rooms. Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, nice food. Very nice staff. Cassowaries and feral pigs in the immediate vicinity. Frogs and toads croaking through the night. A truly magical place to be!"

"Daintree Crocodylus are very clear in what they are and what they are not. We found their advice to be very accurate. Yes, they are "very JUNGLY" and that was great for us. My two kids had a great time and really enjoyed being in the rain forest with all the sounds. We met lots of great people in the communal area. We purchased food and it was great (leaning toward spicy for dinners so you might want to consider that with kids). My wife was impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets and...

"Very charming place. We stayed in one of the Escape-huts/cabins. It was comfortable, nice and clean. Cosy bar/restaurant area next to the pool and close to the beach. Crocs in the water!!"
