"I would highly recommend this resort. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. While the food on-site was a bit expensive, it was delicious. We chose to dine at local restaurants most evenings and enjoyed exploring the area.
The only drawback was the lack of direct beach access from the back of the property. Guests need to take a short walk to a nearby public beach, which tended to be quite crowded on most days....

"Sonesta was alright as a whole. The good things about this resort is the facilities and the options and selections of restaurants, drinks etc. The bad things about the place is definitely the service. I have rarely experienced such bad service on a holiday. The service (or lack thereof) was mainly an issue in the restaurants, where the staff was rude. I even had a waiter rolling her eyes because I asked for a baby chair. "

"The room was really pretty and the view was amazing. Front office staff was very nice. There are no amenities to speak of. The breakfast that's included is pretty sad. You can't beat the location and the other beach clubs you can access to sit at are very nice."

"First night, my wife was bitten a lot by mosquitos. I pointed it out the staff_all they can say that's normal to us.
Our parking in the cabins is said to hold 4 vehicles. Again told the staff and asked if i can just park at the bottom. Being the property is on an uphill, it VERY dangerous to maneuver and park."
