"We had a nice two-night stay on our way to a family event in Massachusetts. Food and drink were excellent. Bar/restaurant area gets very loud on a Friday evening. Free breakfast was great. Room was spacious! Would have been nice to have a pool on hot July days."

"The place was wonderful! Gary was extremely nice and thoughtful! He put out little snacks, some fruit and a delicious homemade banana bread! He kept condiments stocked so we didn’t have to buy anything if we wanted to cook. Toiletries in the bathroom and anything else we might have needed. The place was very clean and just as pictured on the website. It’s a perfect little getaway spot! "

"Stayed here on our bicycle ride along the Empire State Trail, the hotel is right next to the trail. I arrived after cycling all day long under cold rain, the staff let me wash the bike with a hose and gave me a couple of towels to dry it prior to moving it to my room. The room was clean with a comfy bed and a solid continental breakfast. There is a grocery and a fast food restaurant next door. Very convenient place for cyclists riding the trail."

Very short walk to waterfront, museums, restaurants, bars and shops. Unbelievable stay. "Great, clean pool, clean rooms, no complaints. One thing to note: there is no elevator to the second floor! So if you have luggage or have walking difficulties or injuries , there’s no way to get on second floor, other than stairs. If hotel is fully booked you also may not have an option to switch to the first level, which is what we had to deal with. Staff helped us with luggage, but there’s no bellman, so that was challenging. Breakfast was also below average, but waffles were good. Need...
