"The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night."

"The fact that 1 dog was welcome is the primary reason I chose this location. Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending. The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. "Our stay at Herons watch was wonderful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever want and need. We brought our boat and launched it at the bridge which was easy and the ride on the lake back to the house was smooth and easy. The views are awesome. We enjoyed family meals and sitting on the porch , had a camp fire, played games, fished and relaxed. I highly recommend this home for a quality vacation thank you"

"Clean house, beds fantastic. Great kitchen...Very good host..Parking was a challenge if you have more than 2 cars...But nota negative."

"The home was lovely and well-appointed and was very comfortable for 6 adults. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, and cooking utensils, etc...There is a bathroom on each of the three floors which was very convenient - showers on the second and third floors. The house is very close to Middlebury College and the main shopping district - about a one minute drive. Our stay was very comfortable - thank you."

"Great house for a family get together! The house was spacious and backyard was perfect for a summer evening by the fire pit. Highly recommend."

"We were 8 people coming to VT to watch our girls play lacrosse at Middlebury. The house is as pictured and perfect for large groups. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would all definitely stay here again and recommend a stay at this house. Some of us even said it would be perfect for a small...
