"The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. "

"Very dirty hotel, no mirrors in the bathroom, very noisy. The only good thing is that the tram was very close. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"We stayed 1 night in the lovely room for 3 persons. We felt very welcome and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Very good service and you can really feel how they make an extra effort to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and so well made with a something for every taste. Definitely a place we will remember and come back to."

"Jo was really welcoming and made us feel right at home, we had local speciality for breakfast and it was top notch. Room was lovely and comfortable and clean, and we had a great sleep, were well rested for our days in alton towers. Highly recommend. "

"Well presented within walking distance of town centre, pub's and restaurants. Anne/Dave 😆(building manager) was lovely, she worked hard to keep the place so clean and nothing was a problem if you asked 😉 stairs were challenging to the top floor but we managed and wi-fi was a bit sketchy (none at all in our room) hopefully it will be sorted by the owner. All in all a lovely place to stay ♥️"

"A very good stay, the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was clean and had natural ventilation, the bed was comfortable. The guest house was close to the centre of Sale and was easy to get to the bars and restaurants. We would recommend staying there and if we come back to Sale we would stay here again"

"Havde en enkelt overnatning for en tur mod Wales. Maison Claire ligger knap 500 m fra centrum. En sød og meget venlig service af Claire, et lille hyggeligt sted. God morgenmad. Parkering på stedet ikke muligt, men lige overfor er et P-hus, hvor der kan Parkeres til en fornuftig pris."

"Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. "

"A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. However in the room the floor was not washed at there was an old puddle of some pop on the floor. There was was some marks on the pillow but this looked more like wear and tear. It did not bother us enough to contact the staff. The bathroom was large and spacious which was nice and good quality soaps "

"Great hotel next to the airport. Just opened so everything is nice. Small but nice room with a beautiful bathroom. Arrived when the hotel had their opening party, which they kindly had informed us about. Food and drinks for free, whats not to like. The food was amazing so would really chose Thai hotel again. "

"Staying at The Alan was such a delight! I arrived late, but Komal at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. She even upgraded my room. Perfect beginning for my stay. Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Room was spacious, had super cool decor and all in all everything was very positive. Big regards to James Sullivan and his whole team as well. Will defintely return, and I highly recommend staying at The Alan :)"
