"The cottage is as described, comfortable and big. The train is a bit noisy but earplugs do the trick - shower hot, excellent pressure, and extraordinary stars on a clear night. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you, Shaena! "

Looks newly remodeled with a very nice, well equipped and spacious kitchen and a very nice covered deck for congregating and enjoying the mountain and river view. The premises were spotless clean. Close to restaurants and outfitters for the river. Nat is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. "

"Fully stocked and clean..away from city noise but proximity to restaurants, grocery, within 5miles. Peaceful setting and if you like wild life the deer are plentiful. We loved seeing the horses everyday!! We would highly recommend staying here. "

"My group consisted of 2 married couples and 1 single guy. A motorcycle event out of Gearhead Junction in Pembroke brought us to Newport. The cottage was perfect for our group. Plenty of space for privacy as well as gathering to socialize. On Saturday I had planned to visit a few local shops but instead stayed on the farm and enjoyed the peace and serenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and fenced/escape proof front porch. Thank you for sharing your lovely mountain cottage."
