"We were extremely impressed with the friendly efficient staff. The cottage we stayed in was quaint and clean. Well stocked with plenty of rusks and coffee. The cocktails were awesome.Try the Tom Collins Cocktail. Lovely walk trails as well. Then last, but by far not least, the food. I have saved the food for last because It deserves so much praise. The food is not cheap, but oh my word, it is superb. I have yet to be so delighted by my meal at a resort or hotel. Truly the flavors and the quality...

"Lovely place - really excellent meal and great value for money - outside shower rooms were lovely too. Only suggestion would be to put a mosquito pad in the rooms - aerosol was provided but there was a lot of mosquitoes. In general a lovely place with a very good chef. "

"It’s a very well kept property which is next to main road. Host Rochelle and her husband is very welcoming and kind. We, a pack of 5 people went there to Braai, party and have a fun night and we really had a great time.
Breakfast was okay. A special mention to the bread that is very well made.

Breakfast delicious and the home baked bread makes me want to go back for more. Pool is sparkling clean and so was the entertaining area. Will definitely go back again. "The service at this hotel is completely unacceptable.
At check-in, an employee assisted us with the kiosk system and ultimately asked us to pay, even though we had already paid through Hotels.com. This resulted in us paying twice. When we pointed out the mistake shortly after, we were asked—after some back and forth—to wait until the following morning, as only the manager could handle a refund. Despite the error being on the hotel's part, we received neither a proper apology nor any understanding for the time and money we lost due to exchange rate fluctuations.
The next morning, we got up early to catch the manager and went through several formalities before the amount was finally refunded. As expected, we had lost money due to the exchange rate difference. It’s not the amount that matters, but the principle that the hotel didn’t take proper responsibility, failed to apologize, and provided inadequate service despite the time and money we lost.
An apology and some form of compensation would have been appropriate – instead, we were met with indifference and a lack of understanding."
