Location for the slopes was perfect. Ski in ski out, close to the town.

Great hotel with an excellent facilities and excellent service. Great breakfast options. Excellent ski valet service which even included help with putting on and taking off ski boots. Only minor caveat- skin in option involves taking a red piste (which for beginner skiers may be a little intimidating or taking a ski bar). However, hotel shuttle is readily available for the pick up from the base of the gondola.

Best 5 stars hotel in courchevel
All service were excellent, staff are always friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with enough choices.

Nice Hotel in a skiing atmosphere
Hotel is nice and good positioned. Skiing slopes are not difficult and good for beginners. For good skiers maybe not so challenging. Hotel offers everything so that you can start skiing from the Hotel and do not have to run around in the village. Only bring your skiing clothes or you can buy them there in one of the many designer stores (expensive). Also food in General is expensive but in the excellent French quality.

Luxury on the piste
A last minute decision to have a few days in Courchevel 1850. The standard of service from all staff was faultless. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant was superb, the bar staff friendly and courteous, the ski hire and ski room excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. You certainly get what you pay for.

Great location with outstanding staff.
Ski-in Ski-out luxury boutique hotel. Great location, within a nice 10 minute walk from the center of the town (1850). Twice a day service, timed while you're out. The staff was outstanding, without exception. They were on top of their game all the way from unloading the car, to bringing up the luggage, to the restaurant staff, to the ski room. The management is clearly very picky in their hiring and training. It almost felt like they were ideologically committed to the hotel. The food was phenomenal well worthy of a Michelin star (which they are working on). Adding the half-board to the room is well worth the price.

My worst experience of a so called 5 stars hotel
Terrible service at the hotel level Extreme arrogance of the Management. We were the Expedia little guys in the environment and got completely ignored by the hotel staff and management. This is by far my worst experience of a so-called 5 stars boutique hotel. I definitely do not recommend, especially in this kind of price range. Either these guys accept Expedia clients as any other of their clients or they just don't work with Expedia!!

Dear Sir, We are surprised by your comment as every guest, from Expedia or from another channel, is welcomed in the same way at La Sivolière and they are keeping a positive image of the property for most of them. As per our last conversation at La Sivoliere during your stay, you have made the decision to reduce your stay and hopefully we may not be considered as responsible for professional commitments yet. If applying strictly the sales conditions, once again for Expedia or non Expedia guests is what you are calling arrogance, I sincerely do apologize if this is the way you have felt our position. Perfect experience from A to Z
We spent a fantastic long weekend in La Sivoliere, and we loved everything. The location is perfect, hotel is a bit off the busy center of 1850, but it is fully compensated by ski-in ski-out, and also easy transportation to and fro everywhere provided by the hotel. This is a very nice boutique hotel with charming interior and ambiance; interestingly, hotel was fully booked but we rarely saw other guests so you have a feeling of staying in private chalet. The restaurant was homey for breakfast with all you can imagine - also served to our room on the first morning at 11 when we had a long sleep after very late arrival, - and for the evening it turned into a top-end delicious gastronomic gourmet cuisine. The service is impeccable at every moment of stay - from very helpful and welcoming concierge Cederic to the friendly and efficient ski shop attendants to the experienced and sociable bartenders and waiters in the restaurant, to the very professional and - again - very amiable Michelle (massage therapist) in the spa... The staff goes extra mile to make the stay perfect - and so it was for us.

Amazing hotel but the staff are out of the world.
They realy make thier guests feel like movie stares. I've stayed in many hotels in my life, what sets them apart is thier amazing attention to the guests. My wife and I have enjoyed our stay extensively, we will definitely be back.
