"Great hotel with an unique stile and very spacious apartments. Also, very close to the Coronado beach and a lot of restaurants. I am recommending this hotel, but I do have some reservations. A cockroach now and then can be encountered at night. Also the bed sofa in the suite is very unpleasant if you need to use it. These two would be the only reasons for not getting 5 stars."

"This is a cute lil boutique style place to stay. Location is on orange, near the bay(walkable). We used our e-bikes to get around the island and were able to go everywhere without using our vehicle. (Including beach) Perfect place to stay abd have a lil $ left to have some fun! Brigantine has the best taco Tuesday with swordfish tacos!!! And Poehes has a great happy hour overlooking the bay at San Diego. Enjoy😎"

"It was like staying in an old time elegant home in the historic lodge. The reading room was our all time favorite. If we were not out and about we were there. They had installed an elevator to use to get to the second floor and basement to the underground parking garage, with a garage door!! The breakfast was homemade and wonderful as were the happy hour snacks and beverages. It instantly became our all time favorite place !"

"Very nice hotel at a fantastic location at a reasonable prize. The hotel is very close to a fantastic beach, and a suite of restaurants. The vibe in Coronada is so much more holidaylike than San Diego. The staff at LaAvenida is amazing, they helped me so much in all respects. The rooms are large, and the bed very comfortable. The walls are a bit thin, but I would surely stay there again if I ever get the chance for a holiday in the neighbourhood. "
