"Plenty of space in the unit we stayed in. The place is older but very clean and comfortable. Extra towels available for our group. Plenty of places for fishing nearby and their freezer space was convenient. Will be back in the future."

"This cabin seriously blew me away with the uniqueness that it was built with. The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back again! "

"Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!"

"A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. Soldotna was only 18 minutes by...

"I hate to give it a perfect score because that means it will not be available when we need it. LOL. The Bidet was a sweet addition since the last time we stayed there. The futon couch isn’t very comfy, but I slept plenty. :) We love this cabin!"

"Very comfortable house. Owners were attentive if we had any questions, but otherwise gave us our space. Very convenient location! We made use of the hot tub and fire pit. Lots of covered space to keep shoes, waders, boots, poles, etc. WiFi worked well."

"The hosts were amazing. Chris and her husband, Wayne, were fantastic hosts. To our utmost delight, there was firewood stocked by the fire pits for our use. There was also BBQ grills available for grilling. The grounds were breathtaking, with incredible seating all around the river; double-sided rocking chairs, rocking picnic tables, and fire pit seating. The dock was perfect for river-side viewing and a quick dip for some. We will be back! A wonderful treat for our visiting guests. "

"The cabin was very remote and quiet. It didn’t have coffee or a hair dryer but the camp host supplied us with all we needed. She was super helpful. I would suggest getting some games, cards, books since there’s no tv. Keep it with host and check them out as needed. Closer to town than we thought. We didn’t know the town of kenai was right nearby and it had better restaurants. Parradiso was excellent. We did see 3 noise right after we checked in. "
