"Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again."

"This little hotel is really nice and clean. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast has hearty servings of typical English, not very healthy ;o) , food. The room we were offered was nice and clean. There is a lovely little garden/yard in the back of the hotel with a little cabin for chilly days."

"Lovely setting for an overnight stay after a 5 hr drive. Great food and lovely staff. Didn’t like the flimsy plastic party glasses in the room. Glass or solid plastic one are more in keeping and more useable. "

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."
