"Cozy place near New River Gorge National Park. Everything you need is provided and very good communication with owner. Very close to lots of activities and restaurants. It is on the highway, so you will hear traffic, but the box fan provided in the bedroom created white noise to drown it out. Overall, excellent value for the area."

"Property was as described, older cottage and clean. In a very quiet neighborhood up the road from the National Park Sandstone Visitors Center. There was quite a bit of train activity, up to 6 passes in the middle of the night. We knew about it from other reviews and it didn’t really bother us. We woke up and fell back asleep. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. When you enter you feel like you are home. It was spacious and very clean. I took my mother into her hometown for her 75th birthday to visit with friends and family. We had a wonderful time. Thank you."

"This home was a great stop for my group on our way to Tennessee. The host was very accommodating and even provided a brand new pack'n play when I asked if one was available. We were disappointed that the pool wasn't clean enough to use, but we hiked at a nearby park instead and had a great time (Ship Rock trail is awesome). The house could use a few surface repairs, but nothing that affected our stay. "

"Owner was very easy to communicate with. The property was fantastic and everything we needed to disconnect. The stars were amazing and the firepit was perfect for the evenings. Only noise we heard were crickets. It's very quiet, secluded and peaceful. Bring AWD or 4X4, not a car. Driveway is a fun journey through the woods but small cars beware.
