"We stayed in excellent VRBO rentals before. Only problem was garbage from previous rentals had never been removed from property. As snow melted we found an old cigar but on deck as well as dog poop. Which we picked up ourselves. The were many different conflicting instructions on what not to do and what to do in regards to heat, water, dishwasher (there is no dishwasher), but there were pods for one? Otherwise, we had fun. "My husband and I needed a weekend away to relax and just spend some time together. The chalet was very clean and we were able to find everything we needed quite easily! We loved the beautiful lilac bush outside of our deck. I enjoyed the smell of it as I sat on the deck reading a book. We cooked all of our meals at the chalet, watched movies and slept in. "The house was cozy, comfortable, and in a great location. My husband and I brought our two dogs for a little vacation. We were greeted with dog treats, bowls for food and water, personalized Good Friday Chalet stickers, and a cute sign with my name on it. "Where to begin... The property is as far north in Moultonborough as you can get. It's approximately 12 minutes north of the center of town. The property was not clean, may not have been even broom swept! There was toothpaste on the backsplash of the downstairs sink, the stove had never been cleaned, cobwebs and spiders in various places, stained pillowcases, dishes were left in the dishwasher, the toilet bowls did not appear cleaned either. "My friends and I had the BEST time! The location and views were beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet and very easy to access. The lodge was so clean and gorgeous. The host was so responsive to my needs and gave very clear instructions about what to do! The check in process was super easy! The main town is very close and mountain resorts were a 15 min drive! I will definitely be coming back here to stay :)"

"This vacation was my way of celebrating my 50 th birthday w/ my family. The location was secluded enough to not hear traffic but very close to stores, restaurants, hiking trails & golf courses. The house had everything we needed to cook , it was very clean and spacious. The fire pit and beach were great. We all agreed it was special enough to come back."
