"The space was very clean and beautifully remodeled...lots of thoughtful details were included. My overall rating was just "OK" because of what is perhaps a misunderstanding on my part for the use of the word "guest house", Guest houses, to me, are separate dwelling behind a main home but perhaps to others and when filtering by "whole house", what we stayed in was unexpected. "Planned a girls weekend here. We wanted a place we could relax, hang out, hot tub, cook. This place had a kitchen but was not well equipped. Drawers missing handles, not fully stocked with utensils for cooking.Found mouse droppings on top of microwave and underneath microwave as soon as I walked in the kitchen. No dish towels. Had to use bath towels to dry dishes. No hot water and no water pressure..it trickled out of the faucet. There was a leak in the laundry room..a pipe was leaking hot water...

"Nice little house and quiet neighborhood… But be careful on the front steps and stoop. They are slanted and have uneven ridges. Shoes can easily catch and you WILL trip and fall (we did). Also check in availability is late (5 PM). If you want earlier or at least 3 PM (which is the industry standard), you have to pay an extra 25 for every earlier hour that you need. Take this in consideration if you are in town for an evening event you will be rushing to. "
