"The cabin was decorated and lovely, but it was teeming with invasive Asian lady beetles, which my wife had to vacuum up relentlessly. There was also a roach and the bed was pretty hard. But, it was still clean and we made use of the lovely amenities. "

"The cabin itself was nice, clean, and in a great location. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a large amount of Asian beetles throughout the cabin. We lost sleep and even woke up to bugs crawling on us, which made it very difficult to relax or fully enjoy the space. I did reach out to the host during/after our stay, and while they were responsive and offered a credit, I still have not received it and it has now been two weeks. "Nice spacious, clean and beautiful house. A few suggestions to make. The larger bathroom is huge and beautiful. Loved the shower! Just need lights over the sink. So, the first night we were there it was extremely cold outside. We could not get the house warm! I understand that it is an old house and you can feel air coming in. We left on our coats, put on extra socks and even wrapped my 83 year old mother in a scarf and blankets. I wish someone had either set the heat up before we arrived...

"Great property. House worked well for us. Unfortunately the TV situation was a bit of a nightmare. WiFi very unstable. Kept dropping signal every day of our 4 day visit. Owner had to reset WiFi multiple times during stay. Mgr said “a reset usually clears the problem”. Clearly this has been a problem for others before us and they are choosing to live with it rather than solve it. Not a big deal if you don’t watch tv. There is plenty of gathering space for family and lots of fun activities for the kids. The property is expansive and great for an outdoor game of hide and seek. "The house was exactly as advertised. It's hard to overstate what a great location this is. The neighborhood is beautiful and historic, it is close to everything you need, the hiking trail at the park across the street is a must-see, and the five minute walk to 7/11 is a great bonus. "
