"The first time I went to this hotel was over 35 yrs ago. Somehow it has maintained that old world charm from Germany. My grandkids and friend decided we should spend another night there. The staff is friendly and actual scratch made cookies in the lobby. Breakfast is on par with Hyatts located in smaller towns (I consider them the best). You can stay at the Hampton next door (same owners as Sunday House), been there done that in a number of cities.
BTW a good German Restaurant is a 10 minute...

"This was our second stay in the La Hermosa suite and it was perfect! My husband and I love this property, the room is beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The complimentary snacks and drinks are very nice. The pool area is wonderful. During the first stay they brought breakfast in the morning, but they do not offer it anymore. Not sure if this is a seasonal or permanent change, but we did miss it. Nonetheless The Menagerie is just fantastic!"

Only suggestion would to light the trail to the bluebonnet as well as signage for that location like the rest. And steps for the hot tub at the bluebonnet cottage it was really hard to get in and out of. Plan to make it a yearly trip! "
