  • The IGS Energy blimp is a remote control blimp that flies around inside Nationwide Arena during intermissions of Columbus Blue Jackets hockey games. The blimp has a camera that films and projects fans on the giant Dispatch media center that hangs in the center of the arena. The blimp also drops prizes/coupons to eager fans via mini-parachutes.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

We were at the Convention center for a three day tournament. So the proximity and free parking were incredible. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the night club was very loud. The first night I tried with only the sound machines and was kept awake until they closed. Saturday night I did the earplugs and sound machine and was able to sleep but I could still hear it. The apartment itself was cute and mostly clean (you can tell it is pet friendly). The shower wasn't functioning completely like it should with only the handheld sprayer working and the overhead one not. The hallway smelled like weed every time we were in it but the smell didn't make it into the apartment. Because I'm a soccer mom in her 40s, I don't think I would stay here again but if you're staying in the city for nightlife, the location is excellent.

Great location, in the middle of all the action: restaurants, shopping, sight seeing. Beautiful park just around the corner. Parking was convenient. Apartment was well appointed, clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

We were only there to sleep. It was close to the Kemba Live stadium where we went to a concert. There were no issues while we were there, except glass in the parking lot.

The property itself was clean and comfortable and in a great location near lots of bar/restaurants and shopping. The only thing to be aware of is that there is quite a bit of noise at night from the night club next door. The noise isn't as bad in the bedrooms as it is in the living room, and we were able to drown out the noise with a fan and a noise machine.

Great Location for night life and restaurants Close to the convention center

We choose Jonathan's space because it was a great location, clean, and had the right amenities. We loved being able to walk to the convention center and also have access to all the great restaurants and such around the apartment. That being said, the location does have quite a bit of noise from restaurants, the Street, people, etc. I sleep soundly, so it wasn't bothersome for me, and there were earplugs available for our lighter sleepers. Jonathan was very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. Overall, great location.

Perfect location!!

The apartment was spacious and right in the middle of all the action in Short North. We could walk to many restaurants, boutiques, etc. it was great for my adult daughter and I for a few days getaway. It included free parking and was well supplied. There is a nightclub behind the apartment but the owner supplied white noise machines and ear plugs. The music from there did stop at a reasonable hour so really wasn’t much of an issue for us. Our only issue was the homeless people that camped by the back entrance to the parking lot. We never felt unsafe but the smell and trash was suboptimal. Having said that, the only time it was an issue was going to the car. When we walked (most of the time) we used the front entrance where this was not a problem. We do realize this is beyond the owner’s control and it would not stop us from renting again.

Amazing location- within a few hundred feet of tons of restaurants and shops- we walked everywhere we needed to go. Very comfortable condo with everything we needed, including white noise machines in the bedrooms since it’s in a sometimes loud area of town. Decent beds and pillows, plenty of towels and even toiletries. Would definitely stay again.

Great Apartment!

My husband and I stayed at the apartment with our adult daughter. We loved the location, we went to many establishments on High Street within walking distance. There's a coffee shop and a juice bar in the morning. We ate dinner at The Eagle right across the street and it was delicious. The building is safe and secure, and there is parking available in a lot behind the building that we could see from the window. We enjoyed the space and the convenience. The host was very nice. He checked on us through email, and we appreciated that. We plan on staying again!
