Welcome! Enjoy your stay in Colonial Beach in this bright newly remodeled two-bedroom, one and a half-bath cottage in the heart of Colonial Beach downtown! You & your family will be close to everything and will make wonderful memories in our beautiful home:
• 7 mins walk to the Beach Boardwalk
• 7 mins to Colonial Beach Statues
• 9 mins walk to the Municipal Pier
• 1 min walk to Golf Cart rental shop
• 2 mins walk to 7-Eleven
• <5 mins walk to tons of great restaurants, breweries, and shops
We've worked hard to make this feel like home, from beach-inspired art to flat screen TV and phone charging station, plus super-fast WiFi!
Easy check-in with keypad. Kick back and relax in this vacation home that’s two blocks to the beach, Boardwalk, and Municipal Pier!
Living Room Area: In this area you'll find two comfortable sofa-beds, rocking chair, multi-phone charger, and smart TV (Roku & Netflix)
Bathrooms (1 Full, 1 Half): Full sized bathroom with a stand up shower. This space includes shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand soap, bath towels, and hand towels.
Sleeping Area (2 Bedrooms): Master bedroom has a queen bed, night stand, modern chair, small table, and a closet (hangers, iron, and iron board inside it). A fan is located above the bed as well as a lamp on the nightstand.
Second bedroom has two adjacent bunk-beds and sleeps 4 people.
Kitchen: This large area includes a full fridge, single cup coffee maker with k-cups (pods included!), microwave, toaster, dishwasher, stove, and oven. Also included: utensils, cookware, dishes, bowls, mugs, cups, cutting board.
Dining Room:This area includes a round-table with four chairs located across from the kitchen
Laundry Room:This area is located in the back of the home, and includes a new washer and dryer! (Detergent included)
Parking: The house has plenty of on-premise parking in the fenced backyard with a private gate that can fit up to 6+ medium size vehicles & golf carts!

Backyard: Fully fenced large backyard for your children and pets to roam around! Park Style Outdoor BBQ Charcoal Grill

Included as complementary are coffee Keurig pods, sugar, paper towels, toilet paper, water, etc.
Smoking is allowed outside only. No smoking inside please.

You'll have access to the entire home. Easy check-in with keypad.

Walk around on foot to explore the downtown & beach, rent a golf cart across the street, or drive around in your car. Lots of parking space in the backyard to fit cars, vans, RVs, golf carts, etc.

The house fit our needs. When we arrived we found the front door closer was broken, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, toilet seats were loose and within 30 minutes of walking around the baby’s feet were filthy black. The floors looked clean but they were not. Overall we had a great time. Thank you so much!

Great Place, Prime Location!

We can me in town for our daughter’s graduation and chose this home bc it was more space, provided a cozy/updated feel and right next to restaurants, the beach and hiking trails! We would definitely stay here again for our next visit!

Disappointed

The property manager was fast to respond, so that was a good thing. The rug that was in the living room smelled like pee, not sure if it was a dog or a cat. I reached out to the property manager and he said that he would have the cleaning crew come to clean once again because he said jt was the first time that anyone complained about the smell. Obviously if they have pet's they are used to the smell of dog pee, I have no pet's so I'm definitely going to knows something is off with the smell. I can't belive the cleaning crew didn't catch the smell. I would never rent that house again. because i

Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful time at your cottage. It was in a great location with easy access to walk to the water and restaurants. Our dog loved the fenced in yard too! We would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you for sharing your cottage.

Winter Getaway

The overall cleanliness of the cottage was a 10/10. Everything was neat and clean. Other than snow not being shoveled and the steps being slippery I have no complaints.

Wonderful stay

Very clean and comfortable. Fenced in lot was great for letting our dog walk around off leash. Off street parking was a plus. Don't miss breakfast at Lenny's a short walk away or the model train store next door.

Beautiful home in a quiet tranquil location

Home is awesome, very well taken care and decorated nicely. All the amenities we needed got a peaceful stay. Very cozy and quiet. The town itself was very accommodating and people are very pleasant. Definitely recommended this hike if your looking for a location to just unplug from your normal routine and relax.

Good home base during stay

We booked this cottage for two, to provide a home base while we explored the local state parks and beaches. It had a nice large kitchen and just enough space to fit our needs. You can sometimes hear a local car wash dryer or sirens from the rescue squad, but when you’re inside it’s quiet. Would be a great place for a couple or single family to enjoy!

Thank you we had a great vacation!

The cottage was great very comfortable for the children and us. We had everything we need. The walking distance to the beach is 5 blocks, next time we will bring a beach roller cart to bring all our staff. Thank you

Adorable house, but right on main road

The house was great. Fantastic kitchen, nice modern decor. Could use a few side lamps as the overhead lighting is VERY bright. MBR was very comfortable. The bunks in the second BR would be great for smaller kids, but my teens were a little cramped. I love that the yard was fenced, but the location was a negative for me. It IS indeed walkable to many shops and restaurants, but being right on the road meant lots of traffic, and it’s right next to a car wash that operates around the clock. Overall, if you don’t mind being on the main road, this is a great choice!

Perfect cottage

This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!

Getaway

We came down to visit my son who was in town for some Navy training close by and to celebrate his birthday! We found this cute cottage to stay in. It was absolutely perfect! Close to restaurants and stores. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting.

Great house on Main street

The house was comfortable and as described. It was within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and stores. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we found plenty to do around town and met a lot of friendly locals while out and about. Would visit Colonial Beach again. Thanks for the great stay!

Loved Colonial Beach

We enjoyed our visit to Colonial Beach very much. Moe was extremely communicative throughout the process. We knew exactly what to do to get in and before leaving. The PRO: the house was spacious enough for a family of four to comfortably stay; the property was completely fenced in, which is great if you’re traveling with kids or pets; there was a fire pit area in the back and a lovely front porch; it was very clean and newly updated; and it was close to everything. Important to mention: the mattresses are very firm, some prefer softer beds. The location of the home is on a main road. Both mornings there was a LOT of traffic due to a car show in town. If you’re a light sleeper, this may be an issue for you. Lastly, when loaded down with beach gear, the walk will take longer than 7-10 mins. But if you’re in better shape than this 56 year old, it may not be an issue. All in all, I would recommend this VRBO. I have a feeling many happy memories are made there.

Perfect location for a quick DC escape

The house is right on the main road leading downtown and was spotless! There is a great Spa two doors down that was very reasonably priced. I had no idea colonial beach was a golf cart community, book your cart rental before you come down, two are within walking distance. You will save on the parking! Also check out Los Hermanos, great Mexican food. Host was super accommodating, will be back for sure!
