"By The Sea Guesthouse is a bit far from downtown, but in a quiet area, which is nice! It's a 20,000 to 25,000 COP taxi ride to go downtown but easy to find a taxi and only takes a few minutes. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was great. Very helpful. Room was very clean and nice. We had the Standard Triple Room, Ocean View, which I think was the nicest room. "Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. This hotel is located in walking distance from the old town. I would prefer staying here rather than in the old town, where streets are crowded with people trying to sell you stuff. The area felt safe, and there are lots of nearby restaurants 1-5 minutes away. Recommend guests to plan a take-away dinner one night, just to sit on the square with the crowd. The pool inside Casa Relax was highly appreciated, and it was clean. I do not wish to stay in a hotel...
