Not horrible, but some problems
PROS: Good proximity to TAMU campus, bars, restaurants. Well equipped. For the most part clean. Good price. Sleeps at least 8, could fit a few more.
CONS: All but 1 of the beds were terrible. Needs new mattresses badly. Several "details" needs several wall repairs and paint, some light bulbs replaced (front door entry blinked badly, family room way too bright no dimmer, can lights in kitchen way too dark. Batteries out on TV remote. Couch was old and heavily used...not very comfortable.
BIGGEST CON: Parking. Instructions only read "Parking is available in front of building." That is it. When we came home on one evening, all immediate parking spaces were full in front of our unit. I parked in the SAME LOT to the left of unit 109. No reserved signs. No assigned parking reference or painted numbers. Only sign read "Residents Only. Others will be towed". Woke up the next morning with a written note on windshield saying I was parking in someone's spot and a tow truck hauling my vehicle. I had nasty argument with driver who really did not care that I was legitimately there. Had to pay him $50 cash to drop my vehicle. I should have called the police as I was a legitimate resident (at least for the weekend). But let it go. Owner needs better parking instructions. I found out later that there IS NO ASSIGNED PARKING but that the spots on at the left entry drive were owned by someone else. I should not have been towed as signs sucked and i paid my "rent" to be there.
