The cabin needs a lot of attention. We entered the cabin and spent an hour looking for the smoke alarm that was chirping. Ended up being the carbon monoxide detector. Just unplugged it. There are a couple smoke detectors that aren't even working. One of the toilets in the downstairs wasn't operating...chain off...our son-in-law fixed it. The door knob was missing to go into the laundry room. That was interesting to pry open. The fireplace didn't work. The sink in the kitchen has a leak and there is mold underneath that sink. The refrigerator is plugged into an extension cord. (Against building code...my husband is a building inspector.) Couch is broken down. Light bulb out in the master bedroom bathroom. We put in a new one. The shower in the same bathroom is interesting to say the least. Shower heads on one side and then you walk back to the other side to try to adjust water temp. What a pain. Upstairs bedroom had a panel off the wall that revealed wires. Outside the grill was filthy and grease all over the deck in front of it. The furniture outside needs a good scrubbing. The arm rests are black. Honestly, if the owner would just do some TLC to the property, it would be a great place to stay. Loved the location.
