Place wasn’t too bad being that we were only staying one night to board a cruise ship the next morning. I can tell the place has not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. I saw dead bugs laying on the floor, I dropped a bracelet accidentally behind the dresser and I had to move it and I saw other items from previous stays as well as a lot of dust. The backyard could have been mowed, so we didn’t access it. Don’t leave anything out too long on the counter. The morning we were checking out there was a gestation of bug I believe ants on the stove and counter top. Others complained about the shower temperature but we didn’t have that problem. It felt so good nice and steamy. Please bring a disposable bath mat with you and cleaning supplies.

The cleanliness was great. The property has everything you need. The neighborhood isn’t so bad, it’s just some neighbors really have their homes looking so abandoned and messy… it does ruin the experience a tiny bit, but if you’re focused on where you’re staying, the property is great. Freshly painted, everything is new. Very nice and cozy. The owner takes a bit to respond, that could probably improve a bit.

Cute but Cold

This was a very cute and clean rental. We were there just for the night to catch our cruise in the morning. The host had a book put together with a couple of local food joints that I used to find our breakfast. Only complaint was that the shower water never got warm, the instant water heater was off so we got that turned on but after that the water would get hot for 5 seconds then turn back off. I saw previous people also had an issue with this. In our case our stay was so short I didn't want to disturb our host at 11pm so I rocked the cold shower and called it good. Also, if you have a larger party staying with you, the back bedroom opens into the restroom. So if you need to go at night just remember someone may come say hello, LOL.

Hidden Gem

This property had a main house and then the garage was converted to the VRBO. It was extremely clean, both beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. The only negatives were that it was in a slightly sketchy neighborhood and I wish there was a tv in the bedrooms. Also, I wish there was a welcome binder With rules for checkout. We were not sure what to do so we emptied out all the trash cans and made the beds. If your looking for a place to stay close to cocoa village or the river front this is the place for you!

Decent

The interior of the property itself is very nicely upgraded and has good space. The host is very kind to provide snacks and a later check out time. However, I would not likely stay here again: the neighborhood is run down, and the beds were just “ok”. I would have given a better review based on just that but hot water did not work so I took a cold shower. The host was not quick to respond and didn’t offer a solution, just said that it had worked the prior day. When the hot water is running, I would say that it’s “fine”.
