This was the perfect serene oasis. We celebrated our 10th anniversary at the cabin and it was an amazing location - private and peaceful, but still close enough to nearby attractions. The cabin itself was wonderful and just as advertised. The perfect place for 2 people. And the pond and yard area were better than advertised - the view was unbelievable. The cabin had everything we needed. We were only there for 2 nights so didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to be very well-stocked with all the necessary pots, utensils, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the whole cabin was clean and well-appointed. We definitely hope to stay at this little slice of heaven again!

Absolutely gorgeous place
We wanted to get away for a quiet 2 day vacation, and this cabin surpassed our expectations. The weather didn't totally cooperate but we had a great time exploring collingwood, the wineries, cideries and breweries. The cabin is fairly isolated and we loved sitting on the porch and just looking out at the pond and the fantastic view. If we are able we want to go back in the summer when the weather will be better.

Location is easy to find and close to Collingwood. Cabin is clean and has everything you might need. The cabin is very private and tucked away. We spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying the views and the sounds of nature (owls, coyotes, wild turkeys…). Highly recommend.

Couples retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful property. Any season (we came in December) would be awesome. Peaceful and private. Away from the hustle bustle of Collingwood but still close enough. Loved it!

Cozy Cabin in the Country
This is a beautiful and secluded cabin on a gorgeous property...the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin is gorgeous inside with a lovely wood burning fireplace and all the amenities needed to stay put and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The outside fire pit is perfectly situated to enjoy the view of the pond and of the blue mountains. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much John and Cheryl!

Wow!
I googled where do I find peace and quiet after a terrible day at work; this little piece of heaven popped up. What an incredible stay we had. Bring food and coffee, (there's a Keurig, but if you like a lot of coffee like we do, bring instant or your own coffee maker) because you are not going to want to leave once you get here. Collingwood is a very short drive if you need anything. Thank you John and Cheryl, we did not want to leave.

Perfection
The 'retreat' was everything my husband and I had hoped for and then some. It was so quiet and private. The cabin and property were beautiful and excellently maintained. The view was spectacular. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

The Perfect Getaway
I surprised my girlfriend for her 30th birthday by taking her here and man did it not disappoint. My girlfriend was in tears when we first arrived as the pictures are amazing, but seeing this place in person is a different story. The cabin is simply stunning with incredible architecture inside and out. There are so many designated areas to hang and we lived them all. From the swing, couches/ chairs on patio, upstairs bedroom patio, gazebo, and lit up fire pit, we really made this place our home for 3 nights! The outside environment is something next level. It is super peaceful and beautiful here and has some of best views and sounds of nature you’ll ever find so bring your camera (we saw turtles, a stork, and many birds). We went out for my girlfriends birthday to a nearby winery called the Roost and that was awesome so I highly recommend doing the blind wine tasting there (ask for Don). The cabin is very clean and equipped, but just make sure to bring extra pods for coffee, own spices, containers for food and parchment paper/ tinfoil and clear wrap. We also swam in the pond a few times which was super refreshing so bring your bathing suit if you want a quick dip. Can’t say enough about this getaway as it was super relaxing, romantic, beautiful, and exceeded our expectations. John is also an unreal host and helped us from start to finish making our stay super comfortable. Highly recommend this to any couple and we will be back someday! Shawn & Kate

We celebrated my wife's 70 birthday. We were both blown away by this exceptional romantic getaway. We did not want to leave! We told each other we would be back next year. If this not an indication on how amazing this place is, we dont know what else to say! You need to experience it to believe it! We never left the property! Total peace and quiet and relaxation.

Great location
The log cabin is situated in very pretty surroundings. A pond is right outside and is home to greenfrogs and provides good hunting for the swallows which nest nearby. It's very restful to sit on the porch and listen to the frogs and watch the swooping swallows. I'm told there are also deer and other wildlife who visit. A very restful cabin in a lovely situation. A pretty garden of flowers surrounds the building too. We enjoyed the proximity of Collingwood and Blue Mountain as well.

Exquisite Log Cabin
This property is exactly as the listing describes and the check-in and out processes were very simple. It is a beautiful cabin in a calm and relaxing environment. You can sit on the porch or by the pond and just watch the wildlife or take a walk on the trail located on the property. The location is also great - about 5 minutes from downtown Collingwood. If you're looking for a place to just relax and unwind for a few days, then this place is perfect.

Romantic Paradise!
We can't say enough good things about this property. Somehow the beautiful pictures don't do this place justice; it is such a picturesque wonder! The cabin has everything you need inside and the property owner has made the whole property completely turnkey. On top of all that, we just got engaged at the campfire during sunset at this cabin...so it must have some extra magic!! Rent this cabin, you will be very happy you did!

Perfect Little Cabin
When I came across this posting on VRBO I paused and it really grabbed my attention. I was so excited and when the check in date arrived, and I was not disappointed. This cabin is so beautifully done and comes with everything you need. Not only is the cabin itself gorgeous but the property is a little piece of picturesque heaven. The personal pond is adorable and there is a little walking trail on the property to enjoy also. It was too cold to make a fire outside but we got to enjoy a fire inisde with the cozy fireplace. I will definitely be returning again and hopefully in the summer! Great property with easy check in and out process. Thank you for the stay!

Amazing cabin with breathtaking outdoor views.
We had an amazing stay in this cabin. It was a much needed retreat to set the tone for our new year. Spectacular Getaway!!!
This is an amazing place to get away and relax. The beautiful cabin and surrounding property is ideal to hike and curl up by the fire. One of our many highlights was sitting on the front porch listening to two Great Horned Owls calling back and forth to each other. This was absolutely amazing and we will be back for sure!!!

Great, relaxing 3 day break. Log cabin was excellent. Great landscaping, sitting on deck watching wildlife use the pond. Enjoyed the peace and quiet this property provides. Cabin was clean and well stocked just as advertised. Reviews for this site are bang on. Will rebook this property in the future. John the property host was available to answer all my questions. Lovely private retreat
We loved the private cabin. Lovely outside areas to sit. BBQ was very clean and easy to use. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Netflix access was a bonus and watching movies on a rainy afternoon was great. Very easy to get access to the property and the property manager responded quickly to all inquiries. Close to Collingwood which we really enjoyed walking around.
