"This was hands-down our favorite mountain stay in PA! Bruce has done such a nice job with the treehouse. It envelopes you in peace and tranquility to allow your stress to drift its way down the river. We look forward to returning to fish off the dock, take a canoe or kayak out for an adventure, grill on the deck overlooking the river, make s’mores around the campfire and just relax in the hot tub. "This is our fourth time staying at Julie's Raytown Lake cabin. We absolutely love it here. The property is so close to the James Creek launch for us to take out pontoon boat out. We are able to prepare all our breakfasts and dinners at the well equipped kitchen and picnic at the lake. Nights we are either hang out on the deck or at the firepit. The house is immaculate and we appreciate the air conditioning since the week was a super hot one. We will be back again! "

The first day we were met with some heavy fog, so our view was obscured; however, the next day when the fog cleared we were amazed at the beautiful view! The cabin is very secluded and peaceful, clean and cozy. The cabin was close enough to Bedford, Pa., so we drove there for dinner and enjoyed some of the local scenery. Overall, very satisfied!"
