"This VRBO rental exceeded expectations. Despite being attached to the owners' residence, privacy wasn't an issue. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable, with a great deck view. The loft was cozy, and the kitchen well-equipped, including a washer and dryer. Little touches like coffee and chocolates were appreciated. Great location near Camden, Belfast, and Rockport. Solid choice for a getaway."

It is very close to the main house so not sure how private it would be if someone was staying at the main house at the same time especially since the window facing the main house has no shade. "Well appointed clean, comfortable apartment for myself and 3 colleagues. The only thing I would say is that there is one enormous bedroom and then a mid size room that is connected by a sliding barn door from a very small room without a window. This small room has the trundle bed. Might be perfect for a family- it was a little tough for 4 adults. Other than that is was great and Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts!"

"Laura was a gracious host, and opened up their beautiful property to our group. We were staying in Waldoboro for a wedding, and they were so helpful! They even offered to provide a ride to and from the venue! While we didn’t need their assistance with the drive, their support felt genuine and heartfelt. I’d recommend anyone interested in a charming, magical midcoast escape to consider this property!"

"We stayed over Thanksgiving and used both the main house and the cozy cottage. It slept all of us very comfortably, with nice beds and very nice finishings. The pre-placed water bottles and tea were especially welcome! The owner was very responsive to all questions. Our only regret was it was too cold to use the outside amenities!"

"Our second year here and we enjoyed our stay at the Cottrell House apartment. One concern I had was the large mirror across from the kitchen which was leaning against the wall and not attached. Thinking it might accidentally tip over. Will definitely stay again next year. Lived in Damariscotta for 30 years. Love it here! Thank you Lisette."

"The Foundry Guest Apartment was all around wonderful - extremely clean and well-appointed with not only everything needed for a comfortable stay, but also lovely touches like beautiful pictures of Maine on the walls and cozy throw blankets at the ready. "Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay.
