"Unfortunately, I hadn't read the negative reviews before I booked our stay at the Rainbow Sea Resort. While our suite had stunning views over the ocean and was attractively decorated in a Hamptons/beachy style, as shown in the promotional photos, those were the only positives. The bathroom and kitchen were in dire need of a thorough deep clean; there was grime and black mould in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell in the kitchen. "The property was beautifully decorated, with great views. Location was perfectly situated between the 2 sand blows. But the internet connection is poor and couldnt watch any netflix etc. Insulation between master and living space was zero and theres no door between master and ensuit. The noise coming from the appartment above at night time was constant, as they had children running around at all hours of the night and the use of the spa from above after 9pm. From other bedrooms the elevator was...

"We actually did not stay in the property - John the owner kindly offered an upgrade to a slightly bigger town house near the beach. The townhouse is spotless clean and comfortable to stay. John himself welcomes us on arrival, he's super friendly and helpful. Thank you John for making our time in Hervey bay so enjoyable."
