"Parking was pretty narrow at the Ruth and under and around a lot of trees. Toilet had hardly any water flow to refill the tank and made it difficult to use with two people.Guest policy would prevent me from using this property unless we could get approval. Family lives close by and to be hit with a 500 fine to have them stop by for a visit would be a problem. There was a BBQ, Picnic Table and numerous outside chairs but no visitor could sit in them - weird. Overall the property met our needs...

"Life has been crazy for us this summer-a mix of hard and good. Who doesn’t need a stylish little cabin to get away to?? From the ambience to the amenities, we loved our experience so much that we already booked a stay, in the very same cabin, for August. The Phyllis Cabin smoothed out the wrinkles of hardship and helped us focus on the joy of the future. We felt privileged to find home in the Hill Country and can’t wait to come back!"

"The property was very spacious. We did have issues with flies getting into the home from a huge gap in the front door, we had to stuff a towel in it to prevent flies from coming in. There were also huge flying roaches on the back patio so we weren't able to enjoy the outside. Lastly, neighbors dogs and cats barking and crying all night, didn't get much sleep. The house has a great layout with plenty of space. A shame we couldn't enjoy it more."

"The directions to get there and to get in to the cottage were very clear. Everything was clean and very welcoming. It was exactly as advertised. Beautiful spot, easy to access, and just so peaceful."

"I cannot recommend this property due to serious safety concerns.Upon arrival, we discovered that one of the windows could not be properly secured. As a mother traveling with my daughter, this immediately made us feel unsafe. Many nearby homes have visible security measures, which made the unsecured window stand out even more.Feeling safe is non-negotiable when booking a rental. Unfortunately, we did not feel comfortable staying overnight and made the decision to leave. I believe hosts have a...

"We had a great experience with our stay. The house was clean, location was amazing - a lot of cafe and restaurants in close vicinity. The best part was the small goodies available in the house for us :)Will surely come back again!"

"We didnt even stay there. The house was sworming with bugs, had holes all around the outside of the house. The neighbor hood was ugly and we felt very unsafe. Not cozy at all."
