What a wonderful base for a holiday in the Cotswolds. Firstly the property manager, Ali, who could not have been more helpful.
Advising we arrived at Heathrow at 7am and could we have earlier access she wrote come straight here!
Only later did she realise that we may be there at 10 did she ask what time we might arrive. I appreciated her kindness and said midday . We arrived at 1pm, parked in our designated spot (ours for the duration) and went inside to find everything neat, clean and welcoming (particularly the cake and milk). From this comfortable, well appointed, home we toured, walked and relaxed.
The Noel Arms is so close that hot chips were still too hot to eat when we brought them to eat in the small but secluded garden.
The narrow steep staircase is not a problem and the ceiling is anything but low. I am elderly and still over 6feet tall but had no problem.
The bathroom was not an English bathroom of old with intermittent hot water and indifferent drainage The shower, with plentiful water, came from above your head.
It is tempting to give a rotten review so that we can come again easily in the future; that would be unfair but we do intend to do so. Don’t tell your friends until you have secured your booking.
