The hospitality/housekeeping staff are all extremely helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious and served by a smiling, friendly and helpful team - we always receive excellent customer service, thank you. Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going ."

"A lovely small hotel in a delightful small seaside town. Walked 10 minutes to the harbour and beach, with a drink in a small bar onthe way back. Very nice meal in the hotel restaurant in the evening. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Great place. "

"Oldy-worldy charm in a converted attic, complete with a copper tub (separate from the bathroom). The only (minor) downside is the narrow, steep staircase to two of the rooms which might be troublesome for some people.

"Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. We had no issues with noise despite being above the pub. "

"Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....
