"Awesome cabin. Very cozy, clean and well stocked for anything that you could possibly need. It was also located within walking distance to downtown and the many shops to check out. The hosts were great. They were there for anything you might need. They checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Overall very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend it. "

"This property was perfect! It was a 5 day rental to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and to just get away for some relaxation with a bit of fishing tossed in.Our cabin was just as it appeared in the VRBO ad. Very clean and well appointed.We enjoyed being very close to the shopping and eating establishments. Communication with the hosts easy and timely.We would LOVE to come back and maybe choose one of the other cabins on this unique little private wooded area.Please consider "Mallards...

"Great space for guiding a yoga class on the main floor. Had a blanket of snow fall so we had a great time with our snowshoes and cross country skis. Prepared some delicious meals using the kitchen. My friends enjoyed the space."

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. The only reason I took one star off for the location was proximity of the highway. On the plus side everything is within a walking distance."

"My husband and I have been to this VRBO twice and will return. This place is so peaceful and secluded. The sunsets beautiful. To hear the breeze blowing through the leaves on the trees priceless. Jim checked in several times with us. Our sweet Golden Ivy came with too! A little slice of heaven in Hayward."

"This cabin is perfect for a small family or two couples. The location is perfect. There’s plenty of dock space. The screened-in porch overlooks a quiet bay. The cabin is just a few steps from the water. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. I’d bring a fan along if staying during summer as the upstairs bedrooms were very warm on a hot summer night. We loved this place and hope to come back soon!"

"What a beautiful cabin and property! Chris and I were in awe the moment we drove up to the property, went down to the dock and went inside the cabin! "This beautiful cabin on Big Sissabagama Lake is just what we were looking for. The view of the lake from the large deck was spectacular, with small islands in the distance and clear, sparkling water. We kayaked around the islands and saw loons, geese on their nests, and an eagle in a pine treetop. The cabin was clean, comfort-able and well-appointed. Communication was great!"

"We had a wonderful stay in the Northwoods at the Cabernet Cabin! It's on a great spot on a quiet lake. The cabin is clean and cozy. The owners Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. Lots to do and see in the area - it's an easy drive into Hayward for shopping and dining. A great escape from city life!"

"This is a lovely, spacious, clean get-away. It's located in a nice area to enjoy the Northwoods in any direction.
