"The property was quiet, serene and perfect for relaxing! The deck overlooking the beautiful pond in the evening was very relaxing. We played board games, cooked on the grill and when it was dark out, turned on the string of lights on the deck to continue our game. It was just what I was looking for in a relaxing getaway!The property is so beautiful and serene that we would definitely return if planning to be in the area again!"

"We love out of the way places. This one qualifies. Very isolated, yet not far from Woodstock and other great places to visit. Well stocked. Comfortable and clean location.We didn't visit the small pond at the bottom of the hill. But it looks like it would be good fun, especially with children. Saw kayak next to a shed. "Our stay was great! Outdoor space for dining and relaxing was especially nice. Owner was wonderful and accommodating, which was so appreciated. Location is great - but parking is a bit tricky (seems like whole lake has tricky parking with steep ledges and hills). We had two trucks and had to work to get them in the right space and not blocking the road. Overall, tranquil and very nice place - as advertised!Thank you!"

"My husband and I stayed here for one night during this beautiful fall season. Peter met us when we arrived and showed us around and was very accommodating. The layout of the church is wide open. With antiques, unique collectibles, and interesting artifacts that were placed to be aesthetic to the eye. Yes, there were antique knives and antique toy guns, which added to the unique character of this VRBO. The feel of the house is that it is much loved and there is much thought into what goes in it...

"This place hit all the boxes for our annual family trip. For context, that included 7 adults and 5 kids. The place: Plenty of space on the main floor for everyone to get together. 3 large bedrooms upstairs, and 2 on the basement level - one has bunk beds. There’s also an in-law style studio apartment above the garage, so 1 of the couples had a nice from the kids. Plenty of cooking items, plates, cups…and I appreciate the full spice rack, coffee, and other things that are annoying to run out to...

"We had a great time at this fun historic home in Barnard/Woodstock. It was the perfect location to hike, explore the area and spend a great time with our friends who lived right next door. Highly recommend."

"We had a great time staying at this house during our Sugarbush skiing trip this February. The place is easy to access and is close to the ski resort. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this rental."
