"Truly one of the most special places in the world, no place like it. Incredible setting, delicious food and top attention to detail. Patrick and Lamla (spelling?) were terrific and looked after us like family, even driving out to buy me some zamaleks when the hotel didnt stock it. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail terrif. Chef's Warehouse restaurant is a must. This was our second visit in a year and cannot wait to come back again. Very highly recommend it. "

"The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. "Villa we stayed is located on the beach, with amazing view to the sea and mountains. You can just enjoy view all the day. Beautiful, but wild sea, with big waves. Amazing beach, very long and very deep. Fantastic and sweet staff, ready to help 24/7. We had a great time. "

"The hotel is nice in general. Amazing breakfast with Amazing view. Breakfast only available between 8:00-9:00 the other option from 9:00-10:00 was already sold out at our check in time at 16:00 the day before. We had no aircondition in the room. The room had 35 degrees on our arrival. We were not able to sleep due to the heat."

"Beautiful setting. Great and spacious bedroom and bathroom suite. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens which were quiet. At present their restaurant and spa are closed which was disappointing. I would recommend having a car to stay here as it isn’t possible to walk anywhere and it is c30 minutes in a taxi to Cape Town and 15 minutes to Hout bay. We had expected to be able to eat in the hotel. "
