"Pros: The hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from The Bund and Nanjing Road. A great roof terrace bar that adds a significant plus to this hotel. Cons: NO internet in the room at all. I've complained several times to the reception, but limited ability of receptionist who doe not speak well English resulted in no help. I tried to speak with manager as well, but they never arranged that. I was at the reception 3-4 times during my 6-night stay, but nothing changed. They did not help at all. I am still waiting for the manager to reach out to me, but nothing has happened. Another thing - the breakfast setup looks more like 3 star hotel than 5 5-star. I've tried other hotels in Shanghai, and they were more luxurious (seating, the atmosphere, etc) than the Hyatt on the Bund. It is very crowded in the morning and it is a bit dirty with massive production. "

The location is perfect — right in the center of Shanghai, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was spotlessly clean, and the entire hotel was well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Yoki, who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Highly recommended!"

The pool was a great spot to relax, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Crowne Plaza Shanghai truly combines luxury, comfort, and a fantastic location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city—you won’t be disappointed!"
