I would give this 5 stars, but... The good: very pet friendly. The rooms are well suited for pets, and BONUS: there's an amazing pretty park literally right next door over a pretty wood bridge - there are loops from 1/2 to 2 miles. Bed was comfy. The Inn was very pleasant. All the rooms on the second level had balconies with lovely views of the town and river. The staff were very friendly and there was plenty of parking.

I love this place! It is so unique! Our room at the end of the building had 3 windows looking out on Boothbay Harbor. The lobster here is magnificent, and The Tugboat Inn is so affordable.
