"We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. "Lovely stay! Plenty of room and patio is very comfortable as well. Down the street from main property, so accessing other on-site amenities like the pool is not as easy. Booked through Expedia and received different messaging and instructions through both Expedia and VRBO apps. But VRBO instructions were very good. Guest must message host through VRBO to actually reach them."

"Central location to all activities in La Fortuna, very clean and beautiful property. I travelled with my wife and two kids (10 and 13) and fell in love with the place. Spacious inside and outside. "We loved staying at this lovely home just outside of la fortuna! the property was clean and well stocked and the host was so helpful and quick to respond!Highly recommend having your own car if you book this place as there isnt much within walking distance. no complaints from us though, we were aware of this and had no issues.we felt safe and my kids loved seeing the unique wildlife (birds, lizards etc) right on the property."
