"This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return!"

"Very pleasant, peaceful and just what the doctor ordered. A quiet get-away that's far enough from civilization but close enough if you want to venture out in the world. The property was very well kept. The only things that need a little tending to is the pool area seating as the the bar seats should be replaced and the grill could use a cleaning. Our host and his sidekick (Steve & Casey) were a pleasure. I would definitely return to this property"

The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing — we loved dining at the table outside and spending evenings around the fire pit. The location was also ideal for exploring the area; we enjoyed visiting Monticello and Carter Mountain Orchard during our trip. A peaceful, comfortable getaway that made our holiday weekend truly special!"
