"If you are looking for a getaway in the woods, this is it. Tucked away in a private lot you can have a camping experience without the tent! Fire pit, grill, woods! Great place for a small family. Lake Anna State park entrance took about 25 minutes to get too. We hiked and played on the beach. Lake access is not a close walk. Especially with littles. Trash was a pain because the dump wasn’t open at 9:15 and they said you need a local Id. We ended up taking the trash home. Eek. Otherwise place...

"Nice house with great views, but several amenities were broken. The house is beautiful, very clean, has great views, a well-supplied kitchen, and an amazing sauna. However, several advertised amenities were unavailable during our stay. The outdoor projector was missing its remote, the arcade game was broken, and the stovetop was missing a knob, leaving us with three usable burners. The property manager was responsive, but these items could not be fixed while we were there. One reason we chose...

"It was a beautiful cabin, exactly what we needed to get away from the city and just disconnect. If you’re not comfortable driving on mountain roads, just something to think about. Overall an amazing little getaway. "

"The house had everything we needed for JMU family weekend! The owners were very responsive and accommodating 👍"

"If i can go higher than a 5 I would. The place was excellent, the location was perfect and the host was absolutely great.Thank you for the comfortable stay! 10/10"

"Wonderful home in a peaceful setting. Hosts were very helpful and reaponsive to questions."

"Excellent location and views. Beautiful grounds. The house is nicely decorated. It sleeps 6 adults and 4 children. If there was more attention given to the maintenance of mechanical things in the house we would definitely have given this a five star review."

"My family enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. There were plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable and extra pillows were available in the closets. Really enjoyed the TVs in each bedroom. Check-in / checkout was easy. Also enjoyed evenings and mornings on the patio. Only downfall was having to take trash to community dump station about 10 minutes away."
