"Beautiful old house with modern amenities. My kids loved seeing the chickens and horses and a friendly cat was waiting for us outside every morning. The hosts are friendly and their home is on the same piece of property so they were there to welcome us and answer some questions when we were admiring the horses in the "meadow." Not a complaint, but be warned, it's an old house, so there aren't many outlets in the bedrooms, you might want a few power strips with long cords if you want a phone...

"The house was charming and quirky and filled with character. We all fell in love with it! The bedrooms were spacious and the living space was great. We loved that the dining table had room for all 8 of us. The grounds were beautiful and the kids loved catching fish, roasting marshmallows and playing on the swing. The location was so convenient but away from the crowds. The host responded to our questions and needs promptly. We had a great stay!"

"Enjoyed our trip with our doggo. The downstairs rental had surprisingly large bedrooms and a very large bathroom, which was nice where we had little ones running around. It's a historic building so if you like the vintage charm and quirks, it's great and a great value. If you're accustomed to more polished accommodations, this may not be for you. the yard is huge and my kids had fun playing in the snow. Also, there are goats next door. Did I mention the goats?"
