"We very much enjoyed our stay at this warm and welcoming home. There was plenty of room to have a quiet space to yourself and for everyone to come together for a family meal. We had a fire in the firepit and made S'mores. Waking up to the sounds of horse & buggies clip clopping down the road was a highlight to all of us. "This hotel used to be a 5 star hotel. The staff was not welcoming at all. They were all day in and out starring at their pc. Not a ‘hello’, ‘goodnight’, nothing, except for the night shift. The evening shift told me to in order to get ice cubes, I would have to go up on the 5th floor, to get my icebag. Then take another elevator to the 1st floor. Luckily the night security and night shift were customer service friendly enough to help. It is such a dissapointment from what it was. It was under renovation, and messes were left all over. Our first look had water seeping up from the floor ( we did get another one, not an upgrade, just another one) Our room was nice and new, but such a disappointment to what the hotel used to stand for. "
